Application Documents & Procedures

The Hatfield Community Preservation Committee will accept applications for consideration throughout the year. However, if you wish to have your project considered for Annual Town Meeting in May, your application must be received by November 1st of the previous year. Please review the Application Procedures, the Hatfield Community Preservation Plan, the Guidelines for each project category and the CPA Uses Chart for guidance in crafting your Community Preservation Act application. All applicants must address the General CPA Questions and then also the questions for the category of their particular project, e.g.: Open Space, Historic Preservation, Recreation or Community Housing. If a project fits two categories, for example an open space project that has an historic preservation component, then the questions for both of those project categories must be addressed.  The Application and Questions must be typed-out.  Handwritten submissions will not be accepted.
